Rosie’s Ham-gammon sweet cured

Place ham in saucepan and add water til just covered

Bring to boil then drain water.

Replace water and add good tsp brown sugar.

Gently simmer, covered, for 20 mins per lb + 20 mins (approx 1 hr for 750g)

Turn off heat and leave covered and with water in to cool.
